| Firstly for anyone to blame Miakal for the deserters is ridiculous. Miakal does a fine job of running the forum, even to the extent of bending over backwards for some, only to be pissed on by the same person at a later date.
People have mainly left because of some of the other pathetic little pricks that post on this board.. while others have left because they didnt like a certain aspect of the forum and felt that it should accomodate only them and not everyone else.
When Miakal removes things and tries to make a more harmonious environment, people go into bitch mode for some reason, and those bitches have a tendancy to drive people away too.
One of the main reasons for the exodus was infact the constant trouble with the boards. There were some nice discussions and topics that went down the pan after the apparently backed up board went down the tubes. Its hard work coming back to an empty forum and trying to get it active again.
Again, as you pointed out JV. Not many people seem to actually like wrestling these days, so therefore have no desire to visit a forum.
Forgive my ignorance JV.. but how well signposted is this forum on your main site? Because I feel that the only thing that can improve this board is by having more people frequenting it. |
