| I am pro-choice. I think girls should have the right to abort if they want. But the man should have a say in it. Rape is a good reason to have it legal, but I think many girls that have sex who do use protection and get pregnant can't handle having a kid. I mean, parents are supposed to take care of their kids, but if they are too young or can not afford it, they should be able to abort. Yes they can give it up for adoption, but we all hear on the news about kids being abused in foster care and adoptive homes. And I don't think it's fair for the kid to come in to this world, and just sent off to another family. I know if I got a girl pregnant I'd probably want it, but I am not ready for a kid now. So ultimately I am not sure what my decision would be. I can say I'd keep it all I want, but when the moment comes, I may just change my mind. My mother had an abortion when she was younger, I'm not sure if it was after my older brother or after me. But after she had the abortion she found out it was twins, she only thought it was one kid. She said if she knew it was twins she would have kept it. But at the time she couldn't handle having another kids, and it was kind of more my dad's decision to get it. |
