Really all of the above, but only when you get into the non-private issue of marriage and children. It's interesting that all major religions are against sodomy. Now unlike them (I'm not religious), I don't think it's a sin since it's apparent they can't help it. But religions historically tend to oppose things that are maladaptive and practically destructive. Plus the vast majority of people (my unscientific sample) are viscerally disgusted by buggery, so we don't want it paraded in our faces.

Sure they do, though I was being a bit facetious as to shoes. But the point was that, based on the article I excerpted, the shrinks now call sodomy "normal" due to political pressure and the homosexuals take that as a mandate for Govt approval of their deviancy. So, fast forward, if these shrinks succeed in "normalizing" pedophilia, fetishism, etc., do these perversions also deserve Govt approval?

It's obvious that a child needs a mother and father. Does that mean anyone who doesn't will become a mass murderer ? I have no idea. Is that the only standard for a healthy, well-adjusted child? Should a child be exposed to the rampant promiscuity Ms. Charen describes? What does that predict for his or her future relationships? |
