| When I first saw Teddy Long and "The White Man" challenge, I really felt like this dude was trying to take us back a couple of decades (although I am not stupid, I know it still is that way in some places). It was bothersome but....then I remind myself this is Vince (who I detest) and this is their script. Teddy Long does his script well but it does make me uncomfortable (which means he is doing his job well). These are the emotions he is trying to bring out. Now as far as Booker T. goes, he does not need Teddy! He is a great wrestler and does not need a gimmick. They even used Booker to help Goldberg get some pops, which wasn't easy for Booker but somehow he did it. Some of these scripts do go a little tooo far such as the "Katie Long" thing (that is the right name isn't it?). Where Kane supposedly killed a girl. And this thing with the one-legged kid kinda bothers me to but...are they making fun of the handicap there?
It is all showbiz (and Vince, he is so sick)! Take the good story lines with the bad because they will all go away eventually and another will start. Just enjoy those guys and girls who can actually wrestle.
