| We did them all the time my senior year in college (re: 2002). Just get a bunch of guys who aren't complete wrestling idiots and can actually have good in-match conversations (usually somehow referencing the Honky Tonk Man or Doink in the process). Then if you have a cable box that can order the PPV, just set up some seating, get about 2 kegs of cheap light beer, have takeout menus handy, charge everyone a few bucks for admission and beverages, stir gentle, and voila.
For things like the Royal Rumble we had a pool on who was coming out (kinda like a box of scores for the SuperBowl). Basically everyone would get drunk and have a good time. |
