Brayton kneeing Stevens in the balls was 100 times worse than any pass interference call, whether it gets the flag or not. It was a flagrant personal foul, way after the play, and served no football purpose whatsoever. I think they handled it the right way.

And I'd hardly say that refs spent most of their time watching for "ball knocking" -- if anything, pass interference/defensive holding calls are at an all-time high right now.
