Seven-time BJJ world champion and renown Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros has been tabbed with the responsibility of working with Brock Lesnar to improve his ground game as he prepares for his upcoming battle with Heath Herring at UFC 87 in Minnesota.
Lesnar, who made his UFC debut against BJJ black belt Frank Mir, was submitted by Mir and is looking to improve his submission defense. To that end, Comprido has agreed to fly out to Minnesota from Chicago to work exclusively with Lesnar.
Its a move in the right direction for Lesnar, I still don't think he has a chance against someone the caliber of Herring. Even if Lesnar gets Herring on his back, Herrings got a good guard and won't be be submited by someone like Lesnar.
