Monk's First Lady

For some reason, my computer had decided it's not going to let me watch videos anymore. Anytime I click on one, the screen where the video should appear just remains white, but I get no messages saying why it won't load.

I have tried different sites like youtube.com, same problem. I had to click on something to let an applet load or something yesterday, could this have made a difference? I don't think its a firewall, it just doesen't load.

Any ideas?
