Snoop Caught With "That Ish," Charged With Gun & Drug Possession

Snoop Dogg was arrested at a California airport yesterday (October 27) and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and transportation of a controlled substance.
According to The Los Angeles Times, Snoop (born Calvin Broadus) was initially approached by authorities for a traffic violation. The Los Angeles bred rapper had parked in a passenger loading and unloading zone.
Police said they soon discovered a gun and marijuana in his vehicle. Snoop was then arrested and taken to the Burbank Police Department Jail, where he was later booked.
He was freed on $35,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Burbank on Dec. 12.
The aforementioned arrest marks the third time Snoop has been arrested in an airport this year. Last month, he was arrested after allegedly trying to bring a collapsible police baton aboard a plane at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
In April, he and five members of his entourage were arrested on charges of violent disorder for starting a brawl after being denied entry to British Airways' first-class lounge. Seven officers received minor injuries in connection with the event and the airline has since banned Snoop from future travel with the company. |
