The U.S. Government does not mind if you do stuff that's bad for you (i.e. cigarettes and booze) as long as they can tax it. They can't tax online gambling, so they're trying to stop it, instead of embracing it like the UK has.

It's so stupid...anybody who wants to gamble or do drugs can do so fairly easily in the U.S. Instead of embracing this and bringing in additional tax revenue, they'd rather try to take the supposed moral high ground and try to stop it, even though it will NEVER happen.

As for the Patriot Act, whatever...It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, and if I have to be slightly inconvenienced to ensure that nobody flies a plane into the building where I work, so be it
