You have a pretty big hand and by raising you will most likely be getting rid of the big blind and the puck. You can have to many people chasing their draws or second pairs or their small pocket pairs. You also might win the hand right there if you can get the original bettor to fold with that raise. If he doesnt fold and just calls, you are most likely good anyway. If he re-raises, then you have reevaluate the situation and you might have to fold. |
