Most american cars have lots of European parts, I seen it on Top Gear, there was some chrysler (Forgets the model) and it was literally made of mostly Itallian and german parts, the chassis was Itallian, the Engine was german; so imo it wouldn't make much difference if an American auto company is took over by a foreign investor.
