While taking the parents car is a stupid thing to have your child arrested for, surely they thought that he was starting a path (or already in it) of crime and lawless behavior.
It was a great idea in principle, but terrible in execution.
They should have just had him stay in the local cell by himself till Monday morning or something.
I was arrested once when I was 18 and spent a good 6 hours in a cell. It was seriously the worst thing ever. I couldnt imagine a max security jail.
Eeeek.
I swear its the inmates that are already in prison that deterred me from any serious crimes as a youth. The thought of getting locked up with some wack job with a desire for oral pleasure was all the deterrant I needed. It certainly wasnt the police or my parents that scared me. |
