NEW YORK (Aug. 28, 2006) -- The NFL is negotiating to play its first exhibition game in China next summer.
League spokesman Greg Aiello said a decision on the game and the teams to be involved will be made by the end of September. He said the league was negotiating both with Chinese officials and several teams, including Seattle and New England.
The game would be played in the Olympic Stadium in Beijing, which will host the Olympics the following year. |
