A rather disgusting find at the scene of a burglary helped police find their suspect.
Police believe Raymond Parker, 29, broke into the garage of an Albuquerque police officer through a doggie door.
Once inside, police say, he found the officer’s uniform and keys to the police car. Parker then allegedly used the keys to get a department-issued shotgun and the officer’s private handguns out of the trunk.
When he left, police say, Parker defecated on the side of the house.
DNA from the waste matched DNA already on file for Parker, who has been in and out of prison for all sorts of charges, including a handful of burglary charges.
Parker remains behind bars as police try to link him to other burglaries in the area. |
