So Summerslam wasn't too great this year, a loaded card turned a 3/3 1/2 at best rating (I thought the booking was attrociuos (sic). So as always after a big PPV there comes a lull, and in this case a bit of a deep lull.
If you can (past all the doom and gloom) can u pick one rising star. A performer who is drawing and is performing?
My nominations would be .......
Booker T : Transitional? probably but Booker has carried everything that his both worked and bombed on Smackdown for the last 9 months, the King is certainly pulling his weight.
CM Punk : Slow build, not booked as invincible, ROH's mega-star is carrying ECW's mid-card and drawing all by himself.
Edge : Certainly the best heel in the business right now, Edge and Lita play the part perfectly, I just want to see him against a true face soon to see if it works.
I can't really choose right now but if I did it would probably be the legend killer himself, I'm just sooo mad WWE decided not to give him the final string to his perfect bow, damn you Hogan, damn you to hell!!!! |
