Re: Playstation 3 question

With the game installs your space can run out faster than you would think so bigger is better. Unlike the 360 where you have to be buying a ton of XBLA games, DLC for games and stuff like that to need the larger HDD. It isn't nearly as bad as Deuce makes it sound though since only a couple of games have even reached around the 5GB install mark let alone most needing 8-9GB installs. Going to guess he is thinking what PC installs are around these days and thinking the same applies to PS3 or something. But PS3 installs are only partial installs to help loading times.

Although if you didn't care about playing PS2 games which as mentioned the 40GB can't do then in some ways it would make more sense to go 40GB and then put the money saved toward an even larger HDD. But if you do want MGSIV then you are really not saving much money since you would have to buy that with the 40GB and it isn't like you can't upgrade the HDD later if needed on the 80GB as well. Sooooo 80GB MGSIV Bundle it is. Oh and don't wait too long if possible because a lot of people seem to be having a hell of a time finding the MGSIV bundle so you are lucky that you saw it.
