I'll try to keep this short because we've gone over this a lot lately..
No, I don't believe the criticism is fair. I believe a lot of the wrestlers that he supposedly "buried" were not truly main event level talent or they had other, more promising opportunities beforehand that were squandered away but other wrestlers and management. He has made stars out of a lot of wrestlers, he has put over more guys than any other person that's ever been in a similar position.
That's not to say he hasn't made some mistakes.. and I do believe his face turn is stale. HHH is best when he's working heel and spitting on the mic. His matches aren't as good now as they once were.. and he does not get enough credit for some of the classic matches he's put on. |
