In reference to the Elimination Chamber match where RVD landed on his throat (which was HHH's fault, incidentally,) I was reading on Seth Mate's blog at newsday that he thought HHH carrying on in that match was stupid and egotistical, and I agree.
They knew that HHH was losing the title that night, so why not have him take the fall after the accident, go to the back for treatment, and let the others carry on the match. Instantly the fans in attendance would have been even more excited, because they were guaranteed a new champ.
Onto the subject, while I don't think you can class HHH as one of the best workers ever, he's solid in the ring, and most of the time he's plenty entertaining. The only time I can think when his matches were poor was when he came back and was just ridiculously massive, and couldn't move with speed at all. |
