Re: Wenger eyes 'huge' players

You mean like Shevchenko has for Chelsea?

I dont about you but id rather not take big gambles like that. There was talk a while ago about David Villa, even a quote from him saying Arsenal would be his first choice in England, but the price tag would not be worth the risk. Take Reyes for example.

A agree with Richard Dunne but thats about it. Yaya Toure is not needed. He is more attacking midfielder which we have plently of. Not least of all Cesc Fabregas. Wenger nearly always goes one attacking one defensive. Only if he has no other option will he go with two attacking. Michael Essien would be ideal but that aint happening.

Other than that we'll need a back up left winger for when Rosicky gets injured again. Is Aiden McGeady left or right? Up front, we can either ship Bendter out or let him be fourth choice. We need another option up front. Peter Crouch i said a few weeks ago but not for the money Benitez wants.

With Lehmann gone, we'll need another keeper as Fabianki is way to inexpieranced in English football. I've said this every summer for longer than i can remember, Shay Given. The guy is at his peak & has saved Newcastle & Ireland more than once.
