I agree with WWE's decision to put the US title on Matt Hardy at Backlash. I think MVP has certainly become one of the breakout stars of the WWE lately and I think, at this point, he doesn't need the US title to prove that he is (or is close to being) a major player in the WWE (or at least on Smackdown). Hardy has been out for the last few months and even though he gets good pops, for him to remain strong, he needs to carry some gold.
Plus, this feud has gone on forever, mainly due to Hardy's injury, and it was about time that he finally got that US title win. |
