| Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? I'm not disagreeing that Triple H has had his faults.. but lets be real here. Triple H, like him or not, has always had all the tools and the drive to be a main eventer. There's no doubt in my mind that he'd have been just as successful in WWE if he weren't married to Steph. Who is more consistent than him on the mic or in the ring? He always delivers and always puts in a 100% even when he doesn't have to. Meanwhile, guys like Hogan mailed it in for YEARS..
He's buried a couple people.. probably.. arguably. I don;t believe Booker T is a legit main eventer, but I suppose it could be argued.
He's made careers for Batista and Orton, yes.. he's put over Cena. He put over Benoit. He could have easily came back and taken the strap from any of those guys.. outside of Orton whom he has defeated on a couple of occasions, but he never did it.. A guy like Flair would have made sure he was guaranteed a receipt. Like when he always had to get the person back.. whether it was Sting, Steamboat, Garvin, the list goes on and on. Hogan was the and still is the same way.
Triple H is nothing new. there's guys with stroke in the business and they usually earn it. HBK can do whatever the hell he wants. Same with Taker.
