There are a lot of other issues the 360 has that Microsoft escaped from covering with the extended warranty. There is even speculation that certain 360's are now displaying the three red lights as one red light instead so Microsoft don't have to honor the extended warranty. It seems like the second worst one is the video loss one though. If you escape the RROD long enough it seems you will just eventually lose the video eventually. Really is an all around disaster by Microsoft that I am guessing is impossible to fix. There is probably something with the system design that is causing the problems but if they fixed it then new 360's wouldn't be able to play older games similar to the issues later PS2's had with early PS2 games. |
