Birth control has been around for thousands of years. Prior to condoms, it was animal intestine. Even when condoms weren't used, people were well aware of the rhythm method.
I think that the traditional family hasn't changed at all behaviorally. The only thing that has changed is that women are no longer treated as servants, meaning they're not expected to stand by their man when he cheats, punches, or does something else to disrespect them. |
