I work with a guy with Aspergers. While he is pretty intelligent, everything is a conspiracy theory to him and he talks on about the dumbest subjects FOREVER. I have had him follow me into a bathroom because I was trying to get away from him while he talked and talked and talked.
While I have sympathy for people with Aspergers, I find that one particular person I work with to be literally the most annoying person I have EVER encountered in my life. To the point where I lock my office at both doors and shut off the lights so he thinks nobody is here. He will talk to you for 2 hours about a washer and dryer if you let him. I have anxiety attacks when I see him approaching because he corners you into conversations.
I should also mention that I am extremely anti-social and can't stand small talk with people I dont really know. Its something I avoid as often as I can. It may be mean, but that's how I roll. |
