Match#2: Cruiserweight Open Match

Scotty 2 Hotty and Daivari start off. The match starts quickly, with Daivari on the offensive. Daivari taunts allowing Scotty to battle back. Scotty hits a bulldog and goes for the worm. He connects and gets the three count.

Daivari is eliminated

Gregory Helms is next in, sprinting to the ring. He hits a catapult on Scotty as he lay on his back with this throat in line with the bottom rope. Helms with a mat submission to slow the pace. Scotty makes it to his feet and backs Helms into the corner to get out of the hold. Helms battles back but a reversal by Scotty into a back suplex. He calls for the worm but Helms yanks him down by the tights. He then hits a big knee to the temple and scores the pinfall.

Scotty is eliminated

Funaki is in next. He quickly tries a flying crossbody and Helms rolls him over into a pin and scores the three to eliminate him.

Funaki is eliminated

Shannon Moore is in, he trips Helms and pulls him outside the ring. He hits a big flying springboard on the outside onto Helms. In the ring Gregory hits a back breaker and a tow count. Moore then hits a neck breaker off the top rope. Two count or Moore. Moore climbs the ropes. Helms catches him and climbs the ropes. He hits a suplex and then hits the Knee to the Jaw and scores the three count.

Shannon Moore is eliminated

Jimmy Wang Yang next in and he sprints to the ring. He hits a hurricanrada and a two count. Yang pokes the eyes of Helms and a leg sweep to take Helms to the mat, two count for Yang. Yang with a Side Russian Legsweep into a surfboard like submission. Yang rolls him over into a pin and only gets two. Yang leaps to the top ropes and goes for a Moonsault but Helms misses and Yang lands on his feet. Helms clotheslines him. Yang hits a standing Headscissors into a pin and counts Helms to three, eliminating him.

Gregory Helms is eliminated

Helms is so frustrated he hits a Neckbreaker on Yang after the pin. Jamie Noble is next in and he tries a pin right away. Yang kicks out at two. Noble puts on a chicknenwing-like submission to slow the pace. Yang fights back and chops Noble, sends Noble to the corner and Yang charges but Noble moves and Yang goes shoulder first into the post. Noble rolls him up and holds the tights, but Yang kicks out at two. Noble applies a sleeper hold and Yang drops a Jawjacker. Yang hits an atomic drop and two clotheslines, followed by a spinning heel kick, and Yang gets a two count only.

Jamie Noble places Yang on the top rope, seated position and he chops him twice. Noble tries a superplex but it's blocked. Yang tosses Noble off and hits a leaping Moonsault into a pin and scores the pinfall for the victory. They are announcing Yang as new champion when suddenly Chavo Guerrero's music hits.

Jamie Noble is eliminated

Chavo makes his way to the ring and the match continues. Chavo goes right to work and stomps Yang in the corner. Chavo charges Yang near the ropes and Yang lifts him up and over. Yang then hits the top ropes and hits a HUGE flying plancha from the top ropes to the outside. Inside now and Yang hits a missile dropkick on Chavo. Now Chavo recovers and hits the Trifecta Suplex. Chavo goes to the top ropes. Fans boo Chavo. Yang interrupts the ascent to the top by kicking Chavo. Yang climbs as well now and hits a hurricanrada from the top rope. Two count for Wang Yang. Yang goes to the top roes, but is caught by Chavo. Yang kicks him off, goes for a Spinning Moonsault, Chavo rolls away. Chavo hits the top ropes and connects on a Frog Splash. He scores the pinfall to become new Cruiserweight Champ.
