Match#1: MVP & MNM vs. Christ Benoit & The Hardy Boyz
Introduction time..What a shot we get of Melina upon entrance.
All 6 men stand off after intros. Bell rings and we start with Matt Hardy and Mercury. They circle and lock up. They roll around the ropes while locked and Mercury gets a blow to the gut. Matt fights back but to no avail. Mercury rams Matt head first into the turnbuckle.
Matt battles back again and makes a tag to Jeff. He springboards in and hits a kick, goes for a pin and only two. Matt tagged back in. Mercury makes the tag to Nitro who gets a hip toss upon entrance. Hardy arm wrings him and clocks him a few times. Hardy in the enemy corner and MVP tagged in. He hits some blows and a scoop slam. He misses an elbow drop and Matt Hardy makes the tag to Benoit who immediately goes to work with chops and punches.
MVP comes back with a kick to the back and a two count. Benoit now with a chop to the face of MVP and he retreats to his own corner. He tries to tag but MNM drop off the canvas and say they doesn't want in. Benoit whips MVP to the ropes and a back elbow. Snap Suplex by Benoit and a two count. Jeff Hardy tagged in now.
MVP is able to rake the eyes and make the tag to Johnny Nitro. Nitro gets some punches to the face off Hardy while he is stunned. He grabs the leg of Jeff Hardy and reverses with a reverse mule kick. Then he hits his signature legdrop to the crotch of Nitro. Nitro up and he slaps Hardy in the face. Jeff backs him up and Nitro slides out of the ring, Hardy after him, Nitro back in. Mercury then yanks Jeff off the apron as he tries to get back in and sends him back first across the fan barricade. Back inside now and Nitro has a headlock on Jeff to slow the pace.
Mercury in now and a rear chinlock on Jeff. MVP tagged in and hits a suplex and a two count. Mercury places Jeff on the top ropes in a seated position. Jeff kicks him off and hits a Whisper in the Wind. Matt tagged in and he clocks Nitro and sends Nitro to the ropes, back elbow. Mercury runs in and receives a bulldog and Matt simultaneously clotheslines Jeff. He then hits the Side Effect on Mercury and a two count. MVP jumps in while the ref was distracted and he hits an atomic drop on Hardy. Nitro now tags MVP in legally. MVP applies a neck wrench.
MVP gets to his corner and Matt and tags in Joey Mercury. Mercury takes his thumb and drills it into the eye of Matt. Mercury hits a big short-armed clothesline and a two count. Nitro tagged in. He hits a Neckbreaker and a two count on Matt Hardy. Front chancery applied by Nitro to slow the pace. Matt battles to his feet but takes an uppercut by Nitro. Nitro to the ropes and Matt hits a desperation clothesline. Both men on the ground. Nitro tags Mercury first but then Matt tags in Benoit. Benoit with a head of steam takes out Mercury, Nitro in and he gets a back body drop. MVP in and he gets slammed. Benoit then suplexes Nitro onto MVP. Mercury behind Nitro and waist locks him for some reason but then Benoit German Suplex’s Mercury who is still wasitlocking Nitro.. A DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEX! Jeff Hardy in he hits a Swanton on Mercury, now Benoit hits a Flying Headbutt. He goes for the pin and MVP breaks it up. All out mayhem now. Matt tosses out MVP. Nitro flies to the outside to hit Jeff Hardy. MVP goes and gets the US Belt and tries to hit Benoit. Benoit blocks and puts him in a Crossface. He was about to tap when Nitro jumps in and breaks it up. Mercury and Benoit in now. Now MNM calls for the Snapshot. They set it up but Matt Hardy breaks it up. Benoit rolls through into the Crossface on Mercury! Mercury immediately taps!
