Great article Tommy Boy.

My Boston Bias will have to step in here.

Although I do agree with this DH crapola, David Ortiz IS a firstbaseman by trade but plays 95% of his games at DH due to his weak knees and need to keep him healthy long term.

The Pudge pick is the most outrageous of all the picks. When Joe Mauer comes close to batting .400 at the all-star break and can't get the starting job then thats just crap.

Here are my personal starters. AL and NL:

C: Joe Mauer
1st: Jason Giambi. (is literally carrying the Yanks with Damon this year)
2nd: Mark Loretta. (Iguchi had two huge weeks and has pretty much really sucked the rest of the year)
SS: Miguel Tejada
3rd: Troy Glaus
OF: Manny
OF: (God forgive me for saying this) Johnny Damon. He really is still a great player despite all the voodoo dolls made of him in Boston
OF: Vernon Wells (Perhaps the most underated player in the AL)
SP: Johan Santana

NL:

1st: Obviously Pujols. Guy misses WEEKS and come back still the leader in Homeruns and RBI's. That's crazy
2nd: Chase Utley
SS: Jose Reyes. This guy is insane he is so good.
3rd: Miguel Cabrera
C: Johnny Estrada: NL is super weak at this position
OF: Lance Berkman
OF: Alfonso Soriano (but not for defense thats for sure)
OF: Jay Bay (most underated player in all of baseball)
SP: Pedro Martinez
