| NBA playoffs: Whose stock has risen, who has fallen? Here are some of the people that I think have been really impressive in the playoffs: LeBron James: Two triple-doubles (including one in his first career playoff game), and he took the 2-time East champion Pistons to 7 games. Watch out for the Cavs next year. Averaged over 30 ppg in the playoffs Gilbert Arenas: He was there step for step with LeBron. He proved that he's at least a top 10 NBA player. Playoffs leadiong scorer at 34 ppg. Dirk Nowitzki: He's been absolutely killing it in the playoffs, and he's showed signs of toughness, something he's been lacking in previous years. Bonzi Wells: Can anybody say "contract year"? 20 bucks says he signs a huge contract in the offseason and then sucks big time next year. The Clippers: They FINALLY won a playoff series, on the back of underrated star Elton Brand Dwyane Wade: He's really really really good.
And here are some of the players who have been unimpressive: Kobe Bryant: We get it Kobe, your team cant win without you. Tanking game 7 against the Suns is not the way to show it. Carmelo Anthony: 33% from the field, 0-8 for 3's, team gets bounced in 5 games. Everyone on the Cavs besides LeBron: They should be embarrassed about how they played in Game 7 vs. Detroit. Memphis Grizzlies: Swept out of the first round for the 3rd staright year |
