| Firstly, all credit to Glen Jacobs for taking a character that was probably intended as a short term gimmick and running it succesfully for so many years. He deserves all he's had from it for giving personality and depth to a performer that was unable to display emotion "facially" and yet always succeeded in portraying emotion and feeling. I'm not big into power performers like him, but as that ilk goes, he's a good one and has had quite a good number of matches down the years.
However.......the character needs a break, and instead it's back in the middle of yet another non-sensical plot twist. Kane needs to be off our TV screens for up to a year to "freshen" the role, quite simply because everything has been done to death and, particularly for long time viewers, none of the plotlines have continuity or make sense any longer. |
