Matteh's Smackdown

Yuh, I thought I'd post it today, simple fact is, I'm going out tomorrow night so here it is anyway. Leave me feedback and the usual stuff, but it'll always be on a Thursday night normally. Thanks and enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fireworks go off on the stage area as the cameras zoom around the arena, closing up on fans signs. The crowd look as if they are pumped for another edition of Smackdown.

Michael Cole: Welcome folks, here tonight in Toronto, Canada, this is SMACKDOWN!!!

Tazz: We have some great match ups for you tonight, so far we have Rey Mysterio Vs JBL, the Main Event tonight will be between Christian and Benoit. This should be a rocket buster tonight folks.

Michael Cole: That’s right Tazz; we have heard rumours of what could be going down tonight, so this should be an interesting night tonight!

Teddy Long’s music is heard as the Smackdown General Manager makes his way down to the ring. The GM looks at the crowd who are cheering him, as he slowly makes his way down to the ring. Long then gets into the ring and makes his way over to the other side of the ring to get a microphone. The crowd are buzzing as Teddy Long looks as if he’s about to make some announcements.

Long: What’s up everyone in TORONTOOOOOO!!!!! That’s right folks, Teddy Long is here and I have BIG news for everyone. So tonight, so far we have 2 matches, Rey Mysterio Vs JBL, after last week’s loss to Rey in the battle royal, JBL wanted some payback on Rey Rey, if you want him, you got him playa and Christian Vs Chris Benoit because that’s right playa’s it’s two of Canada’s finest wrestlers. You see, these two matches should be cool playas. But we still need to fill up some gaps in tonight’s show, so with that being said, we will be debuting Frankie Kazarian who we’ve recently signed from TNA and we have another special debut tonight which will be sprung on y’all later on.

Michael Cole: That’s HUGE news Tazz, Kazarian was fantastic in TNA!! Here’s hoping he does well on Smackdown!

Tazz: You know Cole, I’ve watched Kazarian a lot lately and I like what I see, he’s a great in ring technician and should be a good addition to the Smackdown roster.

Long: We got some white boys which should be in match ups tonight, so playa’s we’ll be seeing Frankie Kazarian face Paul London tonight to see how the ex-TNA playa can handle the WWE. Also, we will have Heidenreich & Animal Vs Mystery Opponents tonight, so guys, let’s hope you can prepare well for a match that you don’t know who you’re facing, plus Batista Vs Eddie Guerrero. That’s’ my two cents playa’s, hopefully you’ll enjoy the show, holla holla!

Michael Cole: My god what an action packed evening we have tonight Tazz, this should be off the charts!

Tazz: Calm down Cole, you sound like you’re on crack or something. It should be a tremendous show tonight though!

Commercial Break

Paul London’s music is heard throughout the arena as the high-flying superstar makes his way down to the ring. London acknowledges the crowd who are cheering him loudly as he soaks up the atmosphere in the arena.

Tony Chimel: This match is scheduled for one fall, firstly, making his way to the ring, from Austin, Texas, weighing in at 205lbs, PAUL LONDONNNN!!!!!!!!!

London then extends his hand out to the crowd as he runs past them and gives out high fives to some of them. The cruisweight superstar then makes his way into the ring before posing for the fans, as he waits for Frankie Kazarian to come out.

Tazz: London looks pumped tonight Cole, no doubts about it; he’ll want to beat Frankie Kazarian!

Michael Cole: Paul London is an extraordinary athlete Tazz, he is one of the best technical and speedy wrestlers about for his size, this should be a good match.

The Future Frankie Kazarian is shown on the titantron as Jimmy Eat World “Futures” is heard throughout the arena as Kazarian makes his way to the stage area. The fans are cheering the new Smackdown arrival loudly; Kazarian looks around the arena as a huge smile spreads across the face of “The Future”.

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, from Palm Springs, California, weighing in at 220lbs, he is The Future, FRANKIE KAZARIANNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankie Kazarian smiles to the fans as he makes his way down the entrance ramp before posing at the bottom of it. A loud “Kazarian” chant echoes all over the arena as Frankie slowly makes his way up the ring steps and into the ring. Paul London stares at Kazarian as the newcomer makes his way to the top of the turnbuckle before posing for the fans as flashes from camera’s go off all over the arena. The Future then makes his way closer to the timekeeper as he is handed a microphone.

Kazarian: Alright!!! So this is how it feels to be in the WWE then? Well I’ve got to say, I thought I’d be drafted to the better show….Raw, but I dare say I’ll have to get traded or drafted there in a year or so. No doubt the talent on this show isn’t as good, but never fear, Frankie Kazarian is here. You see, the future is a wonderful thing and I’ve got to say, I am the future and if anyone gets in my way, they will feel the Wave of the Future. I’m here to make my way up this god damn awful roster and cement my place right at the top, where I firmly belong. I have no doubt I can do this, but first, I’ve got to beat this Texas hick, Paul London tonight. So Paul, looks as if this is your lucky night, because you’ll get a dose of what The Future has in store for you…bitch!!

Michael Cole: What the hell was that about? He’s an egomaniac already it seems Tazz; let’s see if he can walk the walk!

Tazz: No doubt Kazarian has a big mouth, but I know from experience he has what it takes Cole, let’s see how he gets on against a tough competitor in Paul London.

Paul London Vs Frankie Kazarian – Singles Match – Referee: Brian Hebner

Brian Hebner talks to both competitors as he signals for the bell, as the match gets under way, London tries to tie up with Kazarian, but Frankie reverses and backs off from Paul London. The anger is clear to see on Paul London’s face, as it seems that Kazarian’s words may have pissed the Texan off big style. The Future seems to be generating some severe heat from the Toronto crowd as Kazarian ties up with London again. Kazarian gets London in a Side Headlock as the Future pushes the Texan to the ropes, London comes back off of the ropes and ducks Frankie’s attempt at a Clothesline as London comes darting back off the ropes with a Flying Clothesline. London delivers several boots to Kazarian’s head as he looks to unleash the anger and fury on The Future for his outburst at him.

Michael Cole: I don’t think Frankie Kazarian helped himself any Tazz by making fun of Paul London like that!

Tazz: Seems to be a bit of a mistake by Kazarian so far, but I’m sure he’ll come back!

London runs off of the ropes before delivering an Elbow Drop on the back of the head of Kazarian as he clutches the back of his head. Kazarian slowly gets to his feet as London tries to go for a Dropkick to the face, but Frankie pushes London away as he lands awkwardly on his knee’s. Kazarian picks Paul London up and delivers a few swift punches to the back of London as he wraps his arms around London’s waist before executing a perfect German Suplex on the cruiserweight. Like a true in-ring veteran would do, The Future stays on London so that he can’t get a breather, so Kazarian mounts Paul London and gives him a few stiff punches to the face as the referee tries to break both men up. As the referee intervenes, Kazarian tries to Low Blow Paul London, but he manages to counter it and grabs Kazarian’s foot before hitting a Spinning Heel Kick to Kazarian’s face. Brian Hebner gets down as Paul London makes the cover.

…………1

…………2

………3-No!!! Kazarian kicks out!!

As Kazarian is touching his lip to see if there is any blood coming out from his mouth, London gives him a few swift kicks to the stomach before Irish Whipping him into the corner. Kazarian stumbles out of the corner of the ring, as he’s met by a swift Superkick to the face from Paul London. With the impact of the move, Kazarian falls back into the corner as his arms are over the ropes, keeping him upright. London signals to the fans as they cheer him loudly, before making his way to the top of the turnbuckle, London delivers several right hands to the cranium of Kazarian before setting him up for a Tornado DDT. London gives The Future one more stiff punch to the face before flying through the air and hitting the Tornado DDT, the crowd gasp in shock as they hear a loud thud as Kazarian’s head bounces off of the canvas before London makes another cover on Kazarian.

…………1

…………2

………..3-No!!! Last second kick out by Kazarian.

Michael Cole: What a match to kick off Smackdown Tazz, London has been taking it to the Future but Kazarian won’t stay down!

Tazz: Kazarian ain’t a quitter Cole, but London’s been taking it to
Frankie, I’m impressed by London’s ruthless aggression tonight.

Paul London looks amazed as he stares at the referee aimlessly as he swore it was a three count. Both competitors are near the corner of the ring as London is still arguing with the referee over the last count, out of no-where Frankie Kazarian rolls up London as the referee doesn’t notice that his feet are on the top rope.

…………1

…………2

………3-No!!! London kicks out!

Kazarian quickly gets up to his feet as London gets a hard kick in the stomach for his troubles. The Future then goes for a Neckbreaker but Kazarian turns it into a DDT as London’s head smashes off of the canvas. Frankie doesn’t think this is enough punishment as of yet, so he decides to pick up London again. Kazarian puts his arms around London before delivering a high impact Snap Belly-To-Belly Suplex on the cruiserweight. Bizarrely, Kazarian doesn’t go for the cover, even though it seemed as if he could’ve had Paul London pinned. Instead Kazarian takes London to the top of the turnbuckle with him as the crowd are gasping with excitement. The Future stares at the crowd before mouthing off at them, as an “asshole” chant echoes throughout the arena. Kazarian motions that he is going for a certain move as he picks London up and delivers a spine breaking Flux Capacitor from the top of the turnbuckle. A “holy shit” chant is heard from the crowd, as Kazarian doesn’t go for the cover, instead the cocky, egomaniacal Kazarian decides to go to the top rope. “SSP” is heard from the mouth of Frankie as he flies through the air, with serious hang time, trying to land Paul London’s signature move on him, but at the last second, London moves out of the way.

Michael Cole: He just had to be over-cocky didn’t he Tazz, Kazarian has impressed me though tonight, his attitude sucks though!

Tazz: I told you Cole, Kazarian is a big superstar, but he has an attitude problem!

London regains his composure, as the fans know that he could get the win here. London points to the top of the turnbuckle as he makes his way to the top of it. The referee has his back turned to Kazarian as The Future has slipped something from out of his tights onto his hand, London calls for the SSP as he glides through the air before meeting a stiff fist to the face from Kazarian, London rolls over and it looks as if he’s been knocked out. Kazarian then throws the brass knucks out of the ring as he then covers the prone body of Paul London; Brian Hebner gets down and makes the cover.

…………1

…………2

…………3!!

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner FRANKIE KAZARIAN!!!!!!! Frankie Kazarian bt Paul London by Pinfall (11:56).

Michael Cole: That no good son of a b-…

Tazz: I know Cole, I saw it too, Kazarian just stole one, you can bet your ass Paul London won’t like seeing the replay of this; he used the brass knucks and threw them out of the ring!

Frankie Kazarian celebrates in the ring as the crowd are on there feet booing Kazarian emphatically. The Future stares at the prone body of Paul London, as he hasn’t moved since being punched in the face with the brass knuckles. An evil smile spreads across the face of Kazarian as he picks London up and goes underneath him so that London is on Kazarian’s shoulder’s, Frankie then laughs hysterically as he gives London the Back To The Future before leaving the ring to a chorus of boo’s from the crowd.

Commercial Break

Michael Cole: Folks, we have just witnessed a massacre by Smackdown’s newest recruit Frankie Kazarian here, what a sick and unprovoked attack.

Tazz: He’s sent a message to everyone in the back Cole, but London will want to get revenge on The Future!

“Whatttttta Rush” is heard throughout the arena as Heidenreich and Road Warrior Animal make their way to the ring. The crowd are on their feet as they see Heidenreich do the Heidenwalk to the beat of the Road Warrior’s music. Animal and Heidenreich high five each other as they stick out their hands to the crowd, who try to reach out and touch the pair.

Tony Chimel: Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 550lbs, HEIDENREICH & ANIMALLLLLLL!!!!

Heidenreich and Animal get into the ring as both of the men have their faces painted and the spikes of the LOD on their shoulders. Animal and Heidenreich both go on the top of the turnbuckle to salute to the fans that are cheering their heroes loudly as they wait for their mystery opponents to make their way to the ring.

Michael Cole: I wonder who this tag team could be Tazz?

Tazz: I’ve heard the rumours Cole, but I have no idea either!

Suddenly, familiar entrance music for TNA fans is heard as…THE GATHERING make there way down to the ring. CM Punk and Julio Dinero appear from behind the curtains and make their way to the stage area where Alexis Laree is shown making her way behind them. Punk and Dinero both stare at each other with huge smiles on their faces as they stop and soak up the atmosphere within the arena. They then make their way down the entrance ramp but suddenly stop, as an engine is heard revving throughout the arena.

Michael Cole: What the hell is this?

Tazz: It’s that damn Mexicools Cole!!

Super Crazy, Psicosis and Juvi Guerrera make their way down to the ring on their lawnmowers, as CM Punk, Dinero and Laree look confused. The Mexicools then stare evilly at the trio before laughing maniacally, before heading towards the ring. Heidenreich and Animal stare at each other as the Mexicools park their lawnmowers at different bits of the ring as the trio turn their engines off. Heidenreich and Animal don’t know where to look as they are constantly shifting their bodies to see which one of the Mexicools are going to attack. Juvi Guerrera makes his way into the ring and is closely followed by Psicosis as they attack Heidenreich and Animal. Super Crazy then gets into the ring and straight away Low Blow’s Heidenreich, as the big man had his attention focused on Psicosis. Both men then double-team Heidenreich as they stomp the living hell out of him. Animal tries to save his partner but is then triple teamed by the Mexicools; Super Crazy delivers a Jumping Swinging DDT on Animal as Psicosis goes to the outside to grab a steel chair.

Michael Cole: This is ridiculous, what are they doing out here? It was meant to be The Gathering Vs Heidenreich & Animal!!! They have no need to be out here!

Tazz: Do you want to stop them Cole? I’m sure you could take them on!

Psicosis instructs Super Crazy to pick up Heidenreich as Psicosis delivers a hard chair shot to the skull of Heidenreich, Super Crazy then jumps and does a Moonsault from the bottom rope, before doing one from the middle rope and then he makes his way to the top rope and executes a perfect Moonsault on Heidenreich. The three men turn their attention to Animal as he has taken a beating from Juvi Guerrera. Guerrera and Super Crazy hold Animal down as they position a chair across his face as Psicosis makes his way to the top rope, Psicosis then flies through the air before landing the Psycho Guillotine on-top of the Chair as it crashes the skull of Animal. Juvi Guerrera then asks the other two members of the Mexicools to pick up Animal again as he positions a chair underneath himself before hitting the Juvi Driver on Animal as his skull bounces off of the chair. The Mexicools all high five each other as they talk Spanish to one another before their music hits again and they all get onto their lawnmowers and make their way to the back again.

Michael Cole: Those damn Mexicools just sent a message to all the tag teams on Smackdown!

Tazz: Looks like Punk and Dinero will be pissed off about their debut being ruined Cole!

The camera fades to the back as we see Eddie Guerrero getting ready with Josh Matthews, as it seems as if Guerrero is going to be interviewed. Matthews looks slightly intimidated by Guerrero as the youngster puts the microphone to his mouth to ask the first question.

Josh Matthews: Now Eddie, you seem psyched up for tonight’s match with “The Animal” Batista, how do you feel about going into a big match like this?

Guerrero: What are you trying to say ese? I mean, come on homes, I’m Eddie Guerrero, I’ve been in this business for years, I have no fear, especially going up against a steroid pumping jackass like Batista ese. I went into Teddy Long’s office homes and I demanded a shot at Batista. You see, he thinks he is great since he came over from Raw ese, but the fact is, he’s useless, I’d even say you are better than Batista homes. Un-da-ley ese, Batista will feel my Latino Heat tonight in that ring, as I’m pumped up for this match homes and that’s final!

Josh Matthews: What will be your strategy going into this match Eddie?

Guerrero: That’s a stupid question homes, I’m going to make sure that I Lie, Cheat & Steal my way to victory like normal ese, Batista won’t know what has hit him and that suits me fine homes. He’s nothing more than a woman on PMT in my view homes, he’s just a freaky individual with no neck and I’ll make sure I Frog Splash him and pin that loser 1,2,3 homes. Now if you don’t mind, Eddie Guerrero must go out there and entertain the fans homes, un-da-ley ese!!!

Josh Matthews: Ladies and gentleman that was Eddie Guerrero!

“Can you feel the heat” is heard echoing throughout the arena as Eddie Guerrero makes his way out from behind the curtains to the stage area. A look of disgust is clearly visible on the face of Guerrero as he slowly and casually makes his way down the rampway while the fans jeer Eddie, as an “asshole” chant is also heard in the arena.

Tony Chimel: This match is scheduled for one fall, first, making his way to the ring, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 220lbs, EDDIE GUERRERRRRRRO!!!!!!

Eddie stares evilly at the crowd who try and reach out and touch him, but the Latin superstar pushes their hands out of the way as the evil is clear to see in his demented eyes. Guerrero looks to be calm and collective as he is absorbing the heat he is generating from the crowd before he slowly makes his way into the ring and doing his trademark chest slap. Eddie tries to intimidate the referee as he waits for Batista to come out.

Commercial Break

Eddie Guerrero Vs Batista – Singles Match – Referee: Charles Robinson

Michael Cole: Folks, you may have missed the start of this match, but we assure you it was action packed from the start.

Tazz: No doubt Cole, Batista is demolishing Guerrero, check out this replay.

A replay is then shown as we see Eddie Guerrero trying to go for a Suplex, but Batista reverses it and lands one of his own. As Guerrero gets up, Batista charges at him shoulder first as Eddie is lodged at the turnbuckle, Batista gives him some shoulder’s to the gut, before whipping Guerrero’s shoulder into the turnbuckle pole as a loud pop is heard in the arena.

Back in the ring, Batista is decimating Guerrero as he grabs Eddie’s arm before pulling him back as he meets a Stiff Clothesline that nearly decapitates the El Paso superstar. Guerrero is laid out flat on the canvas as Batista delivers some kicks to the temple of Guerrero who seems out of it at the moment. The Animal picks up the broken body of Guerrero but Eddie then delivers a thumb to the eye of the powerhouse for his trouble. Eddie tries to gain some kind of an advantage on the former member of Evolution as he delivers some rights and lefts to the face of Dave, which have him reeling. Guerrero hits a perfectly executed European Uppercut to the jaw of The Animal but it still isn’t enough to keep the big man down, so Eddie runs at the ropes and comes back, but gets caught in the face by a Big Boot by the big, well built, Batista. The fans cheer loudly as they want to see Guerrero get taken to the woodshed. Guerrero is touching his face and wriggling his head to try and regain his composure as his opponent stalks him at one of the turnbuckle corners. Eddie slowly gets up to his feet as Batista runs with some velocity at Guerrero but Eddie manages to anticipate the move and does a Drop Toe Hold on the challenger as his head smashes off of the bottom rope turnbuckle padding.

Michael Cole: Oh my god, what a momentum shifter that was Tazz, that was smart wrestling from Eddie Guerrero there!

Tazz: Yes it was Cole, that was Guerrero using his in-ring experience right there!

Charles Robinson is busy checking on Dave as Eddie Guerrero decides enough is enough. Latino Heat then tries to take the turnbuckle padding off as he has a plan to make sure Batista connects with it. Eddie finally manages to wriggle the padding off as he slowly turns around, but from out of no-where, The Demon charges at Guerrero and takes him down with a thunderous Spear that could of broken Eddie’s ribs’. Charles Robinson checks on Eddie as the referee gets infront of Guerrero to make sure that Batista can’t hurt him. Robinson signals to the back for EMT’s as Dave goes to check on Eddie Guerrero, as he does this, Guerrero pulls The Animal forward into the exposed turnbuckle and rolls him up as Charles Robinson gets down and makes the count.

…………1

…………2

………..3-No!! Kick out by Batista.

Michael Cole: I see Eddie is doing his usual way to win the match Tazz; it’s about time the referees’ caught him doing it!

Tazz: It ain’t cheating unless you’re caught Cole!

The El Paso native then keeps his composure as he tries to argue with the referee, but Charles Robinson is having none of it, as he tells Eddie to stop arguing and just get on with the match. Guerrero then moves Robinson out of the way as he climbs to the top rope, the fans boo him loudly as he yells something in Spanish at them before flying through the air, but mid-air, Batista catches him and sends him crashing down to earth with a vile, spine shuddering Spinebuster. The Animal then decides it’s time to finish things off as he slowly picks the multiple time former Intercontinental Champion up to set him up for a Batista Bomb. Dave then does his trademark thumbs down but Eddie spits in his face and starts throwing rights and lefts at his opponent as Batista drops Eddie.

Michael Cole: That no good, disgusting excuse for a man! That was sick Tazz; you can’t condone Eddie’s behaviour there.

Tazz: That was too much Cole, it has been a good wrestling match but Guerrero has just ruined it in my book.

The self-proclaimed, Liar, Cheater and Stealer then gives Batista a swift kick in the stomach as he sets him up for a suplex. Eddie then scores with one of the suplexes, before twisting his legs to give the big man another suplex, Guerrero then twists his legs again as he manages to hit the Three Amigo’s on The Animal as the master of the frog splash makes his way to the top of the turnbuckle. Eddie receives some loud jeers and boo’s as he signals for his trademark Frog Splash before jumping through the air, the flashes from the camera’s can been seen going off all over the arena, but at the last minute, Batista manages to get his knees up and Eddie lands awkwardly, before holding his stomach area. The Animal then stands up quickly and roars, before signalling for the end, Dave picks Eddie up in the Powerbomb position before delivering a thunderous Batista Bomb on the former WWE Champ as the big man then rolls backwards with the impact, before covering the fallen Guerrero.

…………1

…………2

…………3!!!

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, BATISTAAAAAA!!!!!!! Batista bt. Guerrero by Pinfall (13:34)

Michael Cole: He did it, Batista managed to beat Eddie even though he was lying, cheating and trying to steal the victory!

Tazz: That’s a huge win for Batista Cole, that is one hell of a huge win for The Animal. It builds him some much-needed momentum for next week. What a rocket buster of a match.

Backstage, the camera zooms up close to the locker room as we see Rey Mysterio stretching before his big match with JBL. Rey Rey is busy doing all kinds of stretches as Orlando Jordan bursts in through the locker room and chats with the cruiserweight superstar. Jordan looks up and down at Mysterio before a huge smile spreads across his face as he begins to laugh at the small superstar.

Jordan: I hope you’re ready tonight Rey, I have a funny feeling JBL is going to beat you senseless after you got that lucky win against him in the battle royal last week. You’d better watch out dwarf boy as you’ve got a huge target on that midget chest of yours. If you somehow manage to beat the wrestling god JBL again this week, then next week, you can face yours truly, as I’ll take you back down to earth you circus freak!

Mysterio: Orlando, just let me prepare for my match, I’ve done nothing to you and JBL had it coming last week when I beat him 1…2…3 with the 6-1-9! If you don’t like it, wait until next week, because it’ll be me that you’re going to be facing, as I’ll make it 2 weeks in a row of beating JBL. So as I was saying man, just let me do my stretches and prepare for facing JBL next, now get out!

Jordan: Don’t worry kiddo, I was just going, but before I go, I’ve got one thing to say to you.

Jordan steps back and looks up and down pitifully at Mysterio as he chuckles to himself. Orlando then looks evilly at Rey before giving the former Cruiserweight Champion a slap in the face. Mysterio touches his face and stares at his hand, as officials run into the locker room to try and separate the duo before anything happens.

Jordan: How does it feel to be slapped like the bitch you are Rey, ha ha, have fun losing to JBL.

Michael Cole: That damn Orlando Jordan, what was the point in that?

Tazz: Calm down Cole, that was Jordan giving Rey a taste of what’s to come next week if he beats JBL tonight!

Commercial Break

“Who’s that jumping out the sky, R-E-Y Mysterio” is played throughout the arena as Rey Mysterio suddenly shoots out from under the stage area as fireworks go off behind the cruiserweight superstar. Mysterio then salutes the fans as he makes his way down to the ring. The fans reach out and try to pat Rey on the back as he gives them out high fives on his way down to the ring.

Tony Chimel: This match is scheduled for one fall, firstly, making his way to the ring, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 165lbs, REY MYSTERIOOOOO!!!!

Mysterio then walks up the steel steps before turning around and acknowledging the fans. Rey Rey then jumps over the top rope and walks around the ring, before climbing the turnbuckle and saluting the fans that are cheering him, as he waits for JBL to come out.

Michael Cole: Rey looks focused tonight; this should be a brilliant match up.

JBL’s music is heard throughout the arena as we wait the arrival of the limousine. The fans are on their feet, loudly booing the former APA member as the limo makes its way from backstage to the arena floor. The limo slowly makes its way to the center of the ramp as the driver gets out and makes his way to the back of the limo, before opening the door for JBL to get out. The former WWE Champ makes his way out of the limo before raising his hands above his head, the fans boo him and jeer him loudly as the New York native makes his way to the ring.

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, now residing in New York City, weighing in at 290lbs, JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELLLLLLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

As JBL makes his way to the ring, he lifts his cowboy hat from his head as the trademark smile creeps upon his face. Nevertheless the former beer lover walks up the steel steps before clutching his hat and making his way into the ring. JBL then stares right through Mysterio as he takes off his hat and his entrance gear before twisting his wrists to get ready for action.

Rey Mysterio Vs JBL – Singles Match – Referee: Nick Patrick

Before Nick Patrick can ring the bell, JBL ties up with Rey as the New York City native easily out-powers Mysterio as he backs him into the corner. Layfield raises his hands as if to let the speedy superstar go, but the self-proclaimed “wrestling god” delivers some hard chops right across San Diego’s biggest superstar. The crowd join in the with chops as a “Woooo” chant is heard with every chop that the longest reigning WWE Champion hits across the chest of Rey Rey. The Highflying cruisweight then ducks underneath one of Layfield’s chops as Mysterio dropkicks the knees of the former WWE Champion. Rey then quickly climbs up to the top rope while JBL slowly gets to his feet, but Mysterio flies through the air, attempting a Hurracanrana, but the self made millionaire manages to catch him in mid-air before delivering a sickening Powerbomb on Mysterio.

Michael Cole: Rey went for the early top rope opportunity and it failed miserably!

Tazz: That’s right Cole, that backfired on Rey Rey there, let’s see if JBL can capitalise on that mistake.

The well-built JBL then stares down at the quivering body of Mysterio, as the little man seems to be really hurt after that high impact Powerbomb. Layfield kicks the head of Rey several times before picking the cruiserweight up; Bradshaw then kicks the high flyer in the gut before executing a Swinging Neckbreaker. The crowd don’t like the tactics being used by JBL as he picks Mysterio up once more, before hitting another Swinging Neckbreaker. John then delivers some swift kicks to the cranium of Mysterio before running off the ropes and delivering several Elbow Drops across the throat of the high flyer. The cruiserweight superstar clutches his throat as JBL hits yet another Elbow Drop on Mysterio. Nick Patrick checks to see if the 6-1-9 perfector is alright as JBL unusually decides to climb the turnbuckle. Rey Rey is slowly moving as Layfield taunts the crowd, who boo him loudly, as he is taunting them, he is stood on-top of the turnbuckle, Mysterio gets up and kicks one of his legs so JBL’s crown jewels hit off the turnbuckle as Rey quickly takes advantage and delivers a sweet Top Rope Hurracanrana on Layfield. Mysterio senses he could have the former WWE Champion as he quickly makes the cover.

…………1

…………2

………No!!! Kick out by JBL.

Michael Cole: What a move by Rey Rey!!!! This could be the momentum shifter.

Tazz: I don’t say this often Cole, but JBL made a mistake and paid for it.

Back in the center of the ring, the former Cruiserweight champion cannot believe that JBL managed to kick out of the high-flying move. Mysterio keeps the pressure on Layfield as the big man sits up somewhat, but he doesn’t see Rey come flying off of the ropes as he delivers a dropkick to the face of the New Yorker. The speedy and agile high flyer then jumps off the middle rope before landing a perfect Springboard Moonsault on JBL before heading back up to the top rope. The cobwebs seemed to have been loosened from the “wrestling god” as he slowly makes his way to a vertical base, as he does this, Rey flies through the air before hitting a Sit Down Senton on Layfield. The crowd seemed pumped as anything as they think it won’t be long before Mysterio manages to beat JBL, but as Rey is looking to the fans, Layfield signals for something backstage as the cruiserweight tries to go for a Jumping Tornado DDT on the New York native, but John manages to reverse it as he manages to get behind Rey Rey, as he goes for a backdrop, but Mysterio reverses it and manages to twist around JBL’s body and hit a perfect Bulldog on the fallen former WWE Champion. What Rey doesn’t notice is that Orlando Jordan is making his way down to the ring as the crowd jeer the former U.S. Title holder loudly. Jordan then gets up on the apron as Mysterio jumps on the turnbuckle before Drop Kicking Orlando in the jaw, but this distraction let’s JBL get the upper hand as he sets Mysterio up for the Last Call, before throwing Rey behind him, as he lands at the other end of the ring. Layfield swiftly makes the cover as Nick Patrick gets down to count.

…………1

…………2

……….3-No!! Kick out by Mysterio.

Tazz: Cole, Mysterio is tough as nails, no doubt about it.

Michael Cole: What is Jordan doing out here? He doesn’t need to get involved in this match!

JBL’s face says it all, the self-made millionaire can’t believe it that Mysterio managed to kick out of the Last Call. The fans are jeering and booing loudly as Layfield signals for the Clothesline From Hell, JBL stalks Mysterio as he is slowly getting to his feet, so the former APA member runs off the ropes with some velocity before going for the Clothesline From Hell, but at the last second, Mysterio ducks and hits a Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors Takedown on JBL. All over the arena they cheers are heard as Orlando Jordan decides enough is enough as he grabs and throws the timekeeper off of his seat before grabbing the chair. Mysterio picks up JBL who delivers several right hands to the temple of Rey Rey as both men are near the ropes, JBL tries to hit a right hand on Mysterio, who ducks, but Rey then delivers some right hands to Layfield. Orlando Jordan distracts the referee as JBL comes charging towards Mysterio, who inadvertently pushes him into the ref, who bounces off the ropes and his head connects with Layfield’s. The referee is down as JBL clutches the back of his head to see if there is any blood, as Orlando Jordan is shouting abuse at Rey Mysterio on the ring apron. The ref is slowly regaining his composure as Jordan punches Mysterio down to the canvas with a stiff right hand, as he’s on the ring apron. JBL is back up to his feet and charges at Mysterio, who side-steps Layfield, who makes contact with Jordan and the chair as it cracks the “wrestling god” in the face. Mysterio quickly takes advantage of this as he rolls up JBL, as Nick Patrick slowly gets into position and makes the count.

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, REY MYSTERIOOOOO!!!!! Rey Mysterio bt JBL by Pinfall (16.23)

Michael Cole: He did it, Mysterio did it Tazz, he basically won a 2 on 1 Handicap match!!

Tazz: I can’t believe it Cole, I thought JBL had it won, especially with Orlando Jordan at ringside.

Mysterio has a huge smile on his face as Nick Patrick raises his hand in victory. Rey Rey salutes to the fans before quickly getting out of the ring as JBL and Jordan stare down at the Cruiserweight superstar. JBL and Orlando then argue between them, as they can’t quite work out how Layfield just lost the match.

Commercial Break

Backstage Steve Romero is shown to be waiting outside Chris Benoit’s locker room to ask him questions about his up and coming match with Captain Charisma himself. Romero knocks on the door of Benoit’s locker room as the Rabid Wolverine opens the door, nearly taking it off its hinges. Chris Benoit then stares at Romero who looks fairly intimidate by the Canadian superstar as he asks Benoit a question.

Steve Romero: Chris, what is it like to be back in your home country of Canada?

Benoit: That’s a good question Steve, you see, I’m very happy to be back here in Toronto, but I’m even happier to be back in Canada. I grew up in this fantastic country, so it’s a great honour to wrestle in front of all these Canadian fans; it’s like giving something back to them.

Steve Romero: You’ve got a match against arguably, one of the most under-rated superstars to ever grace a WWE ring, what are your thoughts on your opponent, Christian?

Benoit: Honestly, Christian is one hell of a tough opponent, he is a fantastic athlete and has been around for years, so is very experienced in that square circle. But, Christian is nothing more than a snot nosed punk, who whines the whole time and says he is the Captain of Charisma. It’s just a pity that being the Captain of Charisma doesn’t win you titles, working hard and being a great wrestler gets you World Titles Christian. I think it’s good that Teddy Long let me face Christian tonight as the way he has been acting lately, he deserves to squeal like a pig when I lock the Crippler Crossface on him………
As “The Crippler” finishes what he is saying, his opponent for the evening, Christian, interrupts the interview, but strangely, the fans all stand up and cheer the Toronto native louder than they cheered the Rabid Wolverine. Captain Charisma’s face is scarlet, as he seems really annoyed with what Chris Benoit said about him, but the Toronto native looks at Steve Romero to see if he is going to ask him any questions. Both Benoit and Christian stare at each other as both men look as if they could brawl right here, but Romero manages to squeeze himself between both superstars as he looks to ask a question to Christian.

Steve Romero: Christian, now that we have your presence here, I have a few questions for you. What do you make of your opponent tonight, Chris Benoit and do you think you can elevate yourself up the card after years of trying?

Christian: First things first Steve Romeo, I’ve worked my ass off all these years since I’ve debuted, no-one can say I haven’t, but sure, this gap toothed ignoramus can say that I don’t win the big ones by only being Captain Charisma. Well I have news for you Benoit, after I defeat you tonight, the Peepulation will see a new star in the WWE and that new star will be CHRISTIAN!! For years I’ve teetered on the brink of managing to get into the Main Event, but tonight, I am in the Main Event, albeit of Smackdown against some robotic loser. Let me break it down for you Chris, seeing as your brain is on overkill after doubling what you’ve said in the WWE since you first joined. Christian is one of the best athletes in the WWE, I am one of the best wrestlers in the WWE, I AM THE BIGGEST DAMN SUPERSTAR IN THE WWE!!! People didn’t come here to see you Chris, no, far from it, they came here to see Captain Charisma baby and you know it deep down in that old crooked body of yours. Now, I’ve won nearly all the titles in the WWE, bar two major ones, the WWE World Title and the WWE Championship, so with that being said, I promise to all the Peeps all over the world, that Christian will win one of them this year. It’s my destiny to win one of those titles and destiny always prevails in the end. But tonight, I’ll have to pick off you….Mr.Roboto and I’ll enjoy hitting you with the Unprettier, to knock a few more teeth out of that mouth of yours. One more thing before I go out and make my grand entrance though and that is this…For all the peeps and to all the fools, say it loud, Christian rules, coz that’s how I roll baby!!!!!!

The Toronto fans are still on there feet clapping and cheering loudly for Christian as he leaves Benoit with Steve Romero. The cocky and charismatic Canadian walks off while we hear his music hit throughout the arena as “If you close your eyes” is heard after the intro to the song is played. The noise within the arena is nearly deafening as the Canadian fans start a “Christian” chant. Captain Charisma then makes his way through the curtains in his usual hooded top and bottoms as he salutes the Peeps in Toronto. Christian has a huge smile spread across his face as he makes his way to the ring, lapping up the cheers he is getting from the fans.

Tony Chimel: Introducing first, making his way to the ring, from TORONTO, CANADA, weighing in at 235lbs, he is “Captain Charisma”….CHRISTIANNNNNNNN!!

Christian slaps his chest and kisses his hand before pointing to the crowd and doing his trademark smile. Captain Charisma walks up the steel steps before confidently stepping into the ring. Christian then walks over to the turnbuckle and climbs it before slapping his chest and taking his hood down, as the crowd cheer him loudly. The Toronto native then jumps off the turnbuckle before again doing his trademark pointing and slapping as he waits for Benoit to make his way to the ring.

Michael Cole: My god, what a reception for Christian tonight Tazz, this Toronto crowd love him.

Tazz: I’ve noticed in the past month or so Cole that Christian has become really popular and it’s great to see, he must be nervous just now, as he isn’t used to hearing cheers!

Our Lady Peace “Whatever” hits the P.A. system as the fans wait in attendance for Chris Benoit to make his way to the ring. Benoit emerges from the stage area, as a smile creeps on the face of the Rabid Wolverine. The Crippler then raises his hands to the fans that also cheer the Canadian wrestler, but Benoit notices that he didn’t get cheered as loudly as Christian. Nevertheless, Chris tries to loosen his wrists as he slowly makes his way down to the ring, as a “Benoit” chant is being shouted by the crowd.

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 220lbs, CHRIS BENOITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Benoit quickly climbs the steel steps as he enters the ring with a look of determination and anger etched on his face. The former Stu Hart Dungeon trainee gets right in Christian’s face as the crowd cheer both competitors loudly. Benoit and Christian stare each other down as the referee, Jimmy Korderas tries to separate both men, who just stare right through each other.

Christian Vs Chris Benoit – Singles Match – Referee: Jimmy Korderas
Jimmy Korderas signals for the bell as the match gets underway, both Christian and Chris Benoit are still trying to stare out each other, before Benoit unleashes some hard chops across the chest of Christian. Toronto’s son screams in agony as he clutches his chest to try and block the chops from Benoit, but the Rabid Wolverine delivers some more stiff chops across the chest of Christian as the fans see how scarlet his chest is. The crowd join in with the action as “Woo’s” are heard all over the arena every time Benoit hits a chop across Captain Charisma’s chest. The veteran tries to go for another chop but Christian ducks out of the way and lands some chops off his own as he has the Crippler stuck in the corner. But Chris manages to duck as he grunts before delivering some kicks to the sternum of Christian. Benoit then sets his opponent up for a Suplex, but the former WWE Champion hits a Snap Suplex on the multiple-time Tag Champion. The technical superstar then keeps the pressure on Christian as he works his body by giving him kicks to the face, to the back, to the stomach as Benoit looks to be putting on a clinic against Captain Charisma. Chris bounces off the ropes and lands an Elbow Drop on his opponent and he tries it again, however this time, Christian manages to move out of the way as he slowly gets to his feet. The fans are chanting “Christian, Christian” as they try to help their local hero get back into this match. The former 3 times Intercontinental Champion manages to pick his opponent up, as Christian hits a Gut Buster on Benoit, who looks as if he is in some pain. The charismatic and always cocky superstar then slaps the head of his fellow Canadian as he then picks up Chris Benoit again before delivering a Snapmare to him. Christian then smiles at the fans that are still cheering him loudly as he delivers a hard kick to the spine of the veteran as he makes the cover.

……….3-No!!! Chris Benoit kicks out!!

Michael Cole: Christian’s taking it to Benoit now Tazz, this has been a great start to the match in my book.

Tazz: Christian needs to stay on Benoit Cole, as he can’t lock in the Crippler Crossface if he’s laid out on the mat.:

Michael Cole: Sorry folks, but we’ve got one last commercial break to take; we’ll see you in 5.:

Commercial Break

Michael Cole: Ladies and gentleman, you’ve missed a momentum shifter in this match, what a move it was by Chris Benoit!:

Tazz: It was a huge move Cole by Benoit, check out the footage just now and see for yourself.:

A replay is shown on the titantron of what happened. We see Christian grabbing his opponent and throwing him shoulder first into the turnbuckle pole. But then we see him going to the top rope and having Benoit in a DDT position, Christian swings around, but in mid-air Chris manages to turn it into a Northern Lights Suplex as Captain Charisma lands awkwardly on his back. A “holy shit” chant is heard on the footage before the action resumes again in the ring.

Back in the ring, both men are down and aren’t showing any signs of movement. But suddenly, Benoit and Christian slowly but surely get up to a vertical base as Christian throws a right hand at the best technical wrestler in the WWE. The Crippler manages to duck the right hand attempt and goes behind Christian as he locks his arms around his waist before hitting a German Suplex on his fellow Canadian. However, the Rabid Wolverine still has his arms locked firmly around the CLB’s waist as he executes another German Suplex. Christian tries to grab the ropes but aggressively, Benoit clubs him in the back several times before hitting yet another German Suplex. The Crippler still isn’t done as he decides to go for one more and as he hits it, he releases his arms from his opponent’s waist before signalling to the fans that he is going to the top rope. Chris slowly climbs the turnbuckle as he measures where Christian is before flying through the air with the Diving Headbutt, but at the last second, the smart thinking charismatic superstar moves out of the way as the referee starts to count.

Both men are slowly moving as they try to get to their feet. Christian is nearly up and is using the ropes for leverage as Jimmy Korderas stops counting both men. Captain Charisma stalks the Wolverine as he waits for Benoit to get up, as he does this, Christian moves up behind him and hits the devastating Falling Reverse DDT on Chris Benoit as he smiles to the crowd. All over the arena the fans are cheering for their hometown hero as he hit one of his signature moves on his opponent. Cleverly, Smackdown’s 2nd last draft pick decides to pick up the former WWE Champion, Christian pokes Benoit in the eye with his thumb as he takes him over to the turnbuckle. The crowd seem really into the match as they are cheering for both men, Captain Charisma then kisses his hand and points to the crowd as he tries to go for the Tornado DDT he tried for earlier, except this time Christian swings through the air and Benoit’s head is planted on the canvas as the CLB nails a perfect Tornado DDT. The hometown hero wastes some time by smiling to the crowd as he makes the cover, Jimmy Korderas gets down and makes the count.

………..3-No!!!!! Chris Benoit kicks out at the last second.

Michael Cole: What a Main Event we’ve witnessed here tonight Tazz!!:

Tazz: I’m impressed by Christian, he seems more focused and determined now than he ever has been Cole.:

The anguish is clearly visible on Christian’s face as he doesn’t have a clue what else he can do to put Benoit away. There’s one more move left that he hasn’t tried to go for tonight and that is the Unprettier, Captain Charisma salutes his Peeps in attendance before picking up the Rabid Wolverine. The CLB then sets Chris up for an Unprettier and as he turns him, before hitting it, he smiles cockily to the crowd, but at the last second, Benoit breaks the move and tries the Crossface on Christian. Machine like, the Calgary born superstar hits the charismatic wrestler in the back several times and takes his legs from under him as Benoit falls to the ground with Christian and locks in the Crippler Crossface. The screaming and shouting from Captain Charisma is loud as he desperately tries to make his way to the ropes, but the aggressive Benoit applies the hold tighter as Christian has no-where to go. It looks as if he is about to tap, but as he is set to bring his hand down, he manages to stand up somehow before charging backwards hard into the corner of the turnbuckle, but what both men don’t realise is that they took Jimmy Korderas with them and the referee is down and out.

Tazz: Wrong place, wrong time for the referee Cole!:

Michael Cole: Did Christian mean to do that? Anyway the referee is down and Christian is up on his feet.:

Finish

Captain Charisma is standing up, rather groggily but he’s up, as he makes his way to the outside of the ring. Christian grabs a steel chair before taking another one in with him as he smiles cockily. The fans don’t have a clue what is going to happen but they are still cheering both men loudly. The CLB then slips one of the chair’s underneath Chris Benoit’s face as the crowd gasp in horror at a move they haven’t seen done in years. Christian takes a huge swing back with the other chair as he takes it back down, crashing it to the mat, but at the last second, the Rabid Wolverine moves out of the way and Captain Charisma makes contact with the other steel chair. Benoit then Chop Blocks Christian as he goes straight back to work and has the Crippler Crossface locked in again as the fans get on their feet. The referee is still down as the CLB taps several times, so Chris relinquishes the hold as he tries to revive the referee. The Crippler moves the referee as he shows some slight movement, but what he doesn’t realise is that Christian is on his knees behind him as he delivers a Low Blow to Benoit. The fans go wild as they sense that the end is near, as Christian kicks one of the chair’s out of the ring, he sets up his opponent for an Unprettier, but again, as he moves Benoit’s body around, he stops and smiles to the crowd before hitting the move on-top of a steel chair. Captain Charisma throws the other chair out of the ring as he makes the cover on the Rabid Wolverine; Jimmy Korderas slowly gets into position and makes the count.

Michael Cole: Are you insane? Benoit made him tap several times and the ref was out cold!:

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, CHRISTIANNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christian bt Chris Benoit by Pinfall (22:45)

Michael Cole: Just look at how smug he is now Tazz, it’s like he won the damn World Title!:

Tazz: It’s a huge win for Christian, why can’t he be happy he won the match Cole?:

Christian’s hand is raised by the referee as he celebrates in the ring. He makes his way to the top of the turnbuckle before doing his trademark smiling and chest slapping to the fans in the arena. The blood is seen trickling from Chris Benoit’s face as he slowly gets to his feet, Benoit leans over the ring apron and grabs a steel chair as Christian doesn’t notice. The Rabid Wolverine walks over to the turnbuckle as he smashes the chair off of Christian’s back, as the crowd go silent. Captain Charisma falls on the canvas, landing on his back as Benoit hits him, again and again and again with the steel chair before picking the CLB up and throwing him outside the ring. The fans are still cheering both men loudly while Benoit is stood raising his hands in the air, as Smackdown goes off the air.
