| Great, great pick for the Texans. There's obviously no denying how exciting a player Bush is, but I honestly believe Williams is the pick that will help the Texans the most.
Think about it. Who would you rather have: Reggie Bush at RB and some dope at DE (HOU's pass-rush has always been MISERABLE), or Domanick Davis (very good, young back) and a guy at DE whose size and athleticism is beyond human? Bush is the sexy pick, yeah; so would have been Vince Young. But Mario Williams is far and away the most practical choice, and his ceiling is probably just as high as Reggie's.
It DOES piss me off that GB won't end up with Mario, though, and if NYJ and NO swap picks tomorrow, they might miss on Hawk as well. |
