If Fabio Capello was serious about showing his players that they need to be disciplined, and show respect to match officials, then he’d have left out Ashley Cole from the entire squad. Yes, Cole did ‘apologise’ but I’m sure it was only because someone told him too.
Why is Crouch in? He’s hardly played for Liverpool recently. Defoe is unlucky not to be kept in the squad.
I don’t really see why Capello announced a 30man squad on Thursday, and then cut it down to 23 today. I’d have just announced the 23 man squad today. |
