There's just something about Kennedy that doesn't scream 'main event' yet. The same thing happened with Edge until he won MITB. The rest, as they say, is history.
I am by no means a Kennedy fan, but he definitely has potential. Now, I find him bland on the mic and very average in the ring. I know he'll improve, and who knows he might even take Jeff's spot by winning MITB this year, despite looking like Finlay's bitch last week.
The future is bright for Kennedy, but he needs to improve drastically (rather than wait around for that unwarranted monster push that more or less killed Lashley's career) before he is taken seriously by anyone. |
