I wish I could find the person who named the "Best Player" award "Most Valuable Player" and take him behind an abandoned warehouse and shoot him in the back of the head.

The fact that he added the word "Value" to it makes stupid sportswriters overthink, and thinking is not exactly their strong points. There's a reason why they write about sports, and aren't doctors, physicists, lawyers, etc...

The person who is the most valuable is the player who is the best. His teammates should not affect how he is judged.

I like to put it this way: The nicest house in Compton is not as "valuable" as the worst house in Beverly Hills, even though it's the most valuable on its "team" (its neighborhood).
