thinking MVP?

After considering Tom's words about Brett Favre vs. Tom Brady in the MVP race in the NFL I got to thinking. Shouldn't they possibly rename the award the Most Outstanding Player or something like that? Value is incredibly hard to determine. Take the NBA for example. I'd personally find a 4/5 more valuable than a 1/2 because there are less of them. I'd find a player like Dirk more valuable than someone like Kobe. Dirk is like 1/100 wheras Kobe is like 1/25 for example. Whereas I believe Kobe's play outshines Dirks, I still think Dirk is the most valuable.

Thoughts?
