Oh, you're right...Good NFL teams are generally so closely matched that if you give them enough head-to-head match-ups, the "worse" team will win, and actually do so fairly often. Just a guess, I would say 35%-40% of the time. This was just a case where the better team lost 3 times in a row.

The odds of a 60-40 underdog winning three times in a row is about 10-to-1. Not great odds, but certainly not insurmountable. And the Giants surmounted it, I guess.
