WrestleMania 24 has passed. The Pay-Per-View was a huge success, but Vince McMahon still had one withstanding dilemma coming over him - ECW. McMahon was contemplating whether to scrap the ECW brand, or to opt to keep it running. McMahon met up with the Board Of Directors to discuss the state of the ECW brand. After a long time of conversation, McMahon and the board decided to leave ECW as it is. McMahon vowed to himself that he overlook ECW more often, to see whether it can deliver, and will certainly see how the Talent Exchange between ECW and SmackDown! progresses. To add to that, McMahon has even gone as far as completely redeveloping the creative writing set-up, employing 3 writers to help improve ECW in terms of storylines. McMahon has revealed them to be Dusty Rhodes, who has retained his involvement with the creative writing on ECW, Tommy Dreamer, who will still continue to compete on ECW despite his creative duties, and Shane McMahon, who McMahon has said will do incredibly well due to his large knowledge of the wrestling industry. Also, the entire creative team have discussed potential angles, and are contemplating introducing some new tag teams to the roster, maybe pitting ECW and SmackDown superstars in tag teams together. And bringing up new talent from the developmental, However, Vince McMahon has said that this truly is ECW's last chance. Can ECW be a success from now and survive? Or will the ego of Vincent Kennedy McMahon be too much to handle? The New legacy of ECW begins with the 2008 Draft…but first the results of WrestleMania 24.
