Re: TNA Impact sucks

How about this... Everyone stops and gets back to the point and doesn't try to get in a meaningless last word. For someone who has always complained about childish behavior there is plenty being dished here... So please no more posting attacks on other peoples opinion. Debating is fine, but childish taunts not so much.

BACK TO THE POINT... THe fact that ratings are increasing and are the highest ever doesn't run parallel with the thought of TNA bottoming out. You can't increase ratings with the same hardcore fans watching the same bit week in and week out. It increase as the fanbase grows.

WWE can have a good rating following a PPV, but once the fans that want to see something fresh come off of something big happening they die back down because it's the same stuff that caused them to leave in the first place... I'm a perfect example of this fanbase. I still give it a chance from time to time and am let down continually after words. And the same logic of hardcores can apply to WWE as it does to TNA, but because of it's history they simply have more of them. TNA however hasn't had the huge #'s that WWE has in the past and slipped into a near comatose state like it is now in comparison, so I'd say the hardcore rule might apply more to WWE than TNA anyway.

If you want to talk to the advert that uses it's shows to boost PPV sales, look at WWE. TNA did well when they had no TV to back PPV sales. You can't truely believe that WWE shows aren't used to pump up their PPV's... That's how the business works. The money is in PPV's no matter who you are, but shows carry us from big event to big event. So if you are saying that Impact basically is nothing more than a build to PPV's, then I guess you could say they have modeled themselves after the one who really started the wrestling PPV market. WWE.
