| What an embarrassment
I just got done watching hours of this Clemen/McNamee at Congress and I am appalled at how some of these politicians handled this. You would have thought Roger Clemens was a high ranking Republican official the way those hicks went to bat for him.. even after Petitte, Knoblauch, etc.. confirmed McNamee's allegations. It was embarrassing to watch these "leaders" of our country in action. At least the Democrats asked real questions and hammered both Clemens and McNamee for their respective roles in this situation. I understand Clemens is a registered Republican and a native Texan, but holy christ.. Can we get some real questions? Far too much attacking on McNamee's character. Being a scumbag doesn't make you a liar.
Good job to Chairman Henry Waxman from California. He was awesome. He wasn't in favor of any side and when the Republicans got out of line, he slaughtered them. Elijah Cummings from Maryland was also very good. "You're my hero, but it's hard to believe you"
