TNA - Lost it's roots, and grew a "funny bone".. *Includes Spoilers*

Now for those who don't really know me, which I'm sure is a lot. I use to be very much so into T.N.A., but that has changed since the years of 2007 and 2008. But why? They're becoming a "bigger" and "better" product and to some they are, but those like I see their flaws which just devalue the talent, and or the entertainment of the show itself.

So let me start off with a few examples of what TNA believes will make them a successful product, and be up there with World Wrestling Entertainment. TNA now is basically a bad 2 hours of Prime time Comedy show, and sure I'll admit that some segments are funny here and there but they are going overkill with many many things. We have Shark Boy, not one of the "bigger" names on the roster, but still has a fanbase and his gimmick was perfectly fine as it was and what do they do? They fucking slap on the 3:16 gimmick on him and try to act original. TNA is far from "original" at the moment, but if we were talking about their start and early success than you can call them that. Another thing that they over do are the lengths of segments. Their catchphrase is "We are Wrestling. Yeah, that's bullshit. There's wrestling on the show, but not so much. IMPACT! mainly consists of segments which are suppose to be humorous such as "Rock N Rave Infection" which is just a poor excuse for a rockstar gimmick and makes me even more wanting Jimmy Rave back in Ring of Honor. Then, we have AJ Styles who now is mainly a joke character but there is one positive about him, and that is that he is showing a personality now compared to his dullness from back in the start of T.N.A.

The second thing that irks me about TNA is the booking, and you can try to debate this if you want but the booking is absolutely terrible. People say that WWE's is bad at the moment, but at the moment..WWE's booking has actually been pretty good. But, how is the booking bad? Well, we have Samoa Joe who in 2004 was the complete bad ass in T.N.A. and let's look at him now...he has a whining gimmick about not being paid enough. Yeah, that's going to elevate him. We had Chris Harris, who basically had the same gimmick but not enough air time and compare that to his A.M.W. days and it's a complete disaster. We have Jay Lethal, sure he's a giant success but it's T.N.A. once again recycling an old gimmick and sticking it on one of their talents. Now, this next little part is going to involve spoilers - They demasked Abyss. What the flying fuck!? He was already dead for quite some time, but demasking him is the complete "in back of the woodshed, head shot and dead" to the whole character. Also, they had Kip James turn on BG and Armstrong and logically, it would be smart to have him turn heel on the Pay Per View but they did the total opposite.

I could go on, but I'll leave it there.
