SmackDown! Review (Contains Spoilers)

This is the first time in a long while that I actually sat down and watched Thur...I mean Friday Night SmackDown! from start to finish.

The Show started off with a non-title tag team match between The Champs MNM and the team of London and Kendrick.
I am starting to really like London and Spanky, even tho I think London and Kidman made for a better team. I think London and Kendrik look too much like jobbers, but I still like them I guess. Maybe a change of clothing would make a difference...
The match was fast paced and entertaining. Paul London is simply amazing and Kendrik can hold his own. MNM might be the best pure tag team WWE has had in a long ass time. Anyway, London pinned Joey for the pinfall and I guees we will see these two teams going at it again next week, but this time for the Titles.
Also, how good looking and talented is that Melina? :smitten:

Backstage Booker T gave one of his entertaining promos. Booker and Sharmell are great together, almost as great as Booker and Goldust. When it came to comedy, not too many could make me laugh like Booker and Goldust did. Anyway, another stupid storyline, as Booker now handed Teddy Long a restraining order againd The Boogeyman...WTF is that?

Anyway, Booker headed to the ring for a match to face...Gunther Scott????? What is this Velocity or SmackDown!? Gunther defeated Booker when Teddy Long played Boogeyman's music which distracted Booker long enough for Gunther to pick up the victoy.
I dont know about the rest of you, but Long bothers the crap out of me

Next was Benoit and he made short work of Simon Dean. I think Simon Dean is way better as a manager right now with his current gimmick tahn a wrestler. The Gemini should have made an appearance here btw. After the match a promo by JBL aired announcing a big celebration next week. Wow, how the mighty have fallen. JBL was the main man of SmackDown! a year ago and now he is fighting for a belt no one gives a shit. At least he is holding that Title.

Speaking about how the mighty have fallen, but is Tazz getting worse and worse every week? I used to love this guy when he started out as an announcer, but now I can't stand his voice

The World Title Match was next and Rey Rey defended against Orton. Before the match Orton got slapped by Angle and Orton ran with his tail between his legs. I cant say I blame him. Angle looked like he was gonna kill someone...Angle's middle name should be "Intensity".
Watching Rey Mysterio coming in with the belt is kinda weird to me, but I still like the fact that someone like Rey who's worked hard is being rewarded.

I liked this match, a few nice spots, especially the one where Orton dropkicked Rey Rey out of the ring. This was a great victory by Mysterio and even tho Rey sucks on the mic, it doesnt matter, as long as he keeps wrestling the way he is. Also more matches like these one and SD! could maybe start competing with RAW.

A Miz promo was next and I predict that in 6 months this guy will be out of a job.

A promo by Regal and Burchill was next and nice to see Regal on the mic. This guy can talk and I would love for him to be the GM of SmackDown!.
Burchill defeated Regal with his finisher and now Regal has to wear whatever Paul tells him to...it should be entertaining  .

I think WWE reads our forum, because they are finnaly bringing back The King Of The Ring and whats even better, it will be exclusively a SmackDown! PPV.
This is the greatest move WWE has done in awhile.

Mark Henry came out for a promo and I think I am the only one who like this guy. He faced The Undetaker in a WrestleMania rematch (without the casket tho) and the match ended when Daivai's new protege interfered.
How impressive was this guy??? HE WAS MASSIVE!!! I think he is the same guy who starred in that movie "The Longest Yard".

Overall I give SmackDown!:
   1/2 out of
