I'm not against the idea, to be frank I barely care about the money grabbing league anyway.

However, the set up is atrocious. The idea of having one game that will possibly result in some relegation threatened team having to play Manchester United (for example) three times in a season whilst one of their closest rivals only plays them twice is ludicrous.

If it's better thought out (I mean if they are all going to get £5m revenue just for the TV rights to this game) why not have this as part of our so called planned Winter Break. The teams go off and play two games abroad....not just one.....and everyone sacrifices a home fixture. Even then, it's not ideal, but it's better than the current proposal.
