Re: Anderson/Quinn, Draft

All the papers here in Cleveland are calling for Phil Savage to sign Anderson to a long term deal; many are also saying to trade away Quinn, because Anderson has proven to be the real deal. Here's the thing though -- THEY'RE IDIOTS!

I am actually all for signing Anderson to a multi-year deal, like 3-5 years. Quinn is still VERY young; Cleveland has a poor track record with their young quarterbacks, like Tim Couch. Lets not rough him up and make him gun shy right away. Let Anderson play in Cleveland for another year or two if necessary, then trade him away. With this plan, you do run the risk of Anderson turning up and being a dud, but I don't think he's truly THAT bad. But I don't think he's Brady Quinn, and that's why Quinn is the guy to lead Cleveland in the future.
