I agree with Freak...if you're Carroll, why would even want to leave?
You're paid extremely well, you're great at what you do, you struggled first time around in the NFL, you live in an area with beautiful weather, and recruiting should be no problem for the rest of his career:
"Look here kid, I'm giving you the chance to play for the best team in the country year in and year out, in a place where the weather is always beautiful, the women are incredible, you'll hang out with celebrities all the time, and if you're into this sort of thing, you can get yourself a very good education. Or, you can go play in Oklahoma or Nebraska or Alabama or some awesome place like that. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go pick up John David Booty from the Playboy mansion.
