No kidding. Weis came in and led Notre Dame's "resurgence" with players recruited by Willingham, and when it came time to win with his own, Weis failed miserably. It's ludicrous to say Willingham left the team in any kind of "shambles."
Also, Notre Dame
always has the best recruiting classes; this one doesn't even stand out compared with others.
