Yeah but how many of those were freshmen starters? Admitedly Wies made some bone head moves when it came to who to start sometimes. But its not the same as having Clausen be two years older and come off the bench after learning from Brady Quinn for a couple years or having a senior Offensive line group that worked well together to teach the newbies that started this year.
He had to start three new guys in the oline a freshman QB and none of the WRs were stellar until Tate started making some waves at the end of the season. I'd actually say the Defense is a solid D but they were left on the field way to long to be effective. |
