I'd also say that it's not a money issue with COS (Church of Scientology, not Satan) because the Catholic Church has an insane amount of money but they rarely bring up lawsuits with anyone.
The fault, if you can call it one (I can though, so I will), is with the way the church is designed itself. It's mysterious to evoke a response in people and to get them interested. With this unfortuantely comes a lot of misguided information about what's going on. Who the hell really knows what the religion is truely about. Just because we've all read some scary shit on the Internet doesn't mean we know (or even don't) what's going on.
Furthermore, a part of their religion seems to be founded on the notion of attack. It is like a cult in this way. Whenever they are attacked, they come back with lawsuits. Again, I'd agrue that most religions minus a few Eastern ones are like this in their genesis. | Even trying to compare Christianity to Scientology is ridiculous. |
