There is no one more qualified from their club achievements available to us and this is a good age for him to become an international manager.
His strengths are in man management and organisation and you have to believe we need those to be displayed in our national team!
He doesn't suffer from the "cult of celebrity" that Sven and Maclaren did too, so that's useful!
All round, I'm pretty happy about this choice. Initially I wanted O'Neill or Jose, but this is a very good option. |
