It’s a shame this competition is in Austria and Switzerland, because neither of them deserve to be top seeds. Also add the fact that Greece are seeded because they won last time out, and we have 3 top seeds who really shouldn’t be given those draws.
However, saying that, group C is rather tasty isn’t it? If only Russia had been drawn instead of Romania, then it would have been the ultimate group of death!
I say the following will qualify for the quarter finals:
GA: Czech Republic, Portugal
GB: Germany, Croatia
GC: Italy, France
GD: Spain, Russia
Hopefully it’ll be a more entertaining tournament than 2 years’ ago. |
